Hi, I'm Akari

As I am currently studying at an international school and planning to pursue further studies abroad, I recognize the importance for Japanese students to develop a stronger awareness of the challenges within the country’s English education.

My Story

• Completed the Global Consumer Intelligence Course organised by the Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo.

• Accepted into the Summer Programme organised by the Department of Physics, University of Cambridge

• Started up an organization to teach English to elementary students in Tokyo.

• Second place in the Diamond Challenge Business Contest Asia Preliminary Round

• UK Math Trust Challenge Gold Award

• Hong Kong Mathematics Kangaroo Contest Merit Award

• Ranked 28th in Tokyo for singles and 6th for doubles in tennis

• Founded an experimental learning course to teach tennis to middle and high school students.

• Launched an entrepreneurship platform for teenagers aimed at reducing unemployment.
